Weekend & Weekday UK dive trips
Stellar Divers make regular weekend trips to Capernwray, one of the best inland dive sites in the UK (if not THE best!) – situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District offering fantastic visibility & great facilities.
We normally travel up on Thursday evening, meet in the bar and discuss Friday & the weekend’s events before sitting down to a group meal. This means we wake up refreshed, enjoy a fantastic breakfast & drive to Capernwray for opening, on Friday at 10am, Saturday/Sunday at 9am.
We also do many day trips through the year to Stoney Cove & 8 Acre lake, all of these dates are at the bottom of the page.
The accommodation for diving at Capernwray
As with all of our trips to Capernwray we stay at Tewitfield Marina near to Carnforth eating at the Longlands Pub. The team, the hospitality, food and accommodation is in our opinion second to none; you will always get a warm welcome and a good time is guaranteed.
To stay with us in the Marina expect to pay @ £45 – £60 per person per night, this depends on time of year, summer months being the most expensive. We will book the accommodation unless you expressly wish to stay elsewhere, the room rate will be added to your invoice after the weekend. Please note the rate is room only.

The diving at Capers
Capernwray is without doubt one of the best inland dive sites in the UK; situated on the edge of the beautiful Lake District offering fantastic visibility & great facilities.
We normally travel Thursday evening, meet in the bar, and discuss the weekend events before our group meal. This means we wake up refreshed, with a fantastic breakfast, and drive to Capernwray for opening on Friday at 10am, and Saturday & Sunday at 9am.
We welcome anyone to our trips, whether you simply want a good dive in great company, or perhaps you fancy doing a PADI course such as Advanced Open Water, or a speciality course such as Wreck diver.
If you require kit hire, the dive centre at Capernwray offer a great array of equipment.
